I wanted to impress my husband by making him a fancy wedge salad. When we sat down to eat he kept commenting on how thick the lettuce was. I insisted it only seemed different because I got it from the organic section. Turns out it was cabbage. #cookingfail

#cookingfail after cooking all day. Everybody was ready to eat. Went to get the turkey out of the oven and learned our oven was broken and the turkey was still frozen.

@jimmyfallon When I was 10 I didn’t know what confection sugar was and used 4 cups of regular sugar to make frosting. Tasted like sweet sand. #cookingfail

#cookingfail 1st time cooking a turkey, didn’t know it had to be defrosted before putting it in the oven. When I realized it was raw in the center, I cut it up and microwaved it. Then when the mashed potatoes didn’t look like the recipe I added a little yellow food coloring. 🤮

@jimmyfallon I baked an apple pie that came out really ugly. My brother asked if he could have it, he and his friends got high and ate it directly out of the pan, with their bare hands #CookingFail (or #CookingWin?)

@jimmyfallon One Thanksgiving my sister made deviled eggs. She didn't have any paprika, though, so she covered them with seasoned salt. Same year she fell asleep while deep-frying the turkey and then we ran out of propane before it was done. #cookingfail
