Kudos to all involved. Saving fawns is quite challenging since they require hand rearing. Best wises. 👍
Salute to tiger as well. The striped monk hardly chases or intended to attack humans. Giving a safe passage works most of the time.
However, human-wildlife conflicts are always challenging for field officers. 👍
12 years since the sad day. He is of the greatest son of our soil- Shaheed Tukaram Omble. The courage, the presence of mind and the selflessness demonstrated by him on that day- no words, no awards can do justice. Garv hai bahut aise mahaan insaan par 🙏🏼 #MumbaiTerrorAttack

This committed & dynamic police officer, Aravind Chaturvedi adopted a comprehensive approach to handling crime with the help of District Administration & managed to tackle an intractable problem of illicit liquor in Barabanki District, UP @IPS_Association
Dr Arvind Chaturvedi is also a green warrior and have fought against organised wildlife crime when he was with @uppstf. I am one of the fortunate ones who could closely work with him for a long time. Great to see him soaring new heights. @Barabankipolice @IPS_Association
Tiger chases a guy into a pit near Tezpur, Assam this morning. Three persons injured. Tiger hopefully safe too. Forest Dept officials at site.
Chasing a human being is not the true nature of a tiger. To arrive at a win-win situation in such human-tiger negative interface, keeping a safe distance and giving space to the animal do work. Wish both are safe and on the way to their homes.
NZP is one of the largest and significant breeding sites of Painted Stork in the country. This year 220 nests were made by about 450 painted storks, out of which 350 plus chicks have come out so far. An unusual conservation of free ranging birds in NZP is interesting to follow.
#India🇮🇳 is home to 75% of the world's tiger population! Efforts of officers like Ramesh Kumar Pandey of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve help the Tiger to flourish. Congratulations for getting @UNEP's 2019 Asia Environmental Enforcement Awards for fighting transboundary environmental crime.
Thanks for the honour @UNEP. Overwhelmed. Humbled. Grateful to each and everyone.
